- I'm a labor doula (harmonydoula.com) -- one of the most rewarding things I've ever done aside from having my own children. I've also a PhD in History, but life took me away from academic and in a new direction when I had my sons. I've been an artist, crafter, and seamstress since I was a child. Cashmere Cuddles was born out of my need for a carrier my son would tolerate, my addiction to fabric, my need to create, my love of sewing, and my desire to stay home to watch my children grow.
